The
Electronic Transfer Account (ETA) is a low-cost account
designed for individuals who do not have, and may never
have had, a bank account. By opening an ETA, these individuals
may enjoy the same banking benefits as you.
As
a recipient of a Federal Payment, you may be eligible
to open an ETA and receive your payments through this
account. However, your Federal payment can be deposited
automatically into your current checking or savings
account at your bank, savings and loan or credit union.
All
you have to do is sign up for Direct Deposit!
It's easy to sign up for Direct Deposit. If you
already have a checking or savings account, just
visit your bank, savings and loan or credit union
and ask a representative to sign you up.
